The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to play a key role in launching and establishing a new premium automotive brand in the Australian market.

Working closely with senior brand and marketing leadership, you will help translate an international brand vision into compelling, locally relevant marketing strategies and campaigns. This is a highly influential role within a growing organisation, offering the opportunity to shape brand positioning, customer engagement and commercial growth from an early stage.

You will lead integrated marketing initiatives spanning brand, product, digital, customer, retail, CRM, media and experiential channels. The ideal candidate will combine strategic capability with hands-on execution and have a strong understanding of premium brands and high-consideration customer journeys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Australian marketing strategy, annual marketing plan and launch roadmap
  • Lead integrated brand and product campaigns across paid, owned, earned, social, digital, experiential, CRM and retail channels
  • Adapt global brand strategies and creative assets for the Australian market while maintaining premium brand standards
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new vehicles, model variants, technology propositions and commercial initiatives
  • Drive brand awareness, customer consideration, acquisition, engagement and loyalty through insight-led campaigns
  • Develop media strategies, channel plans and campaign optimization initiatives with agency and platform partners
  • Coordinate with PR and communications teams on vehicle launches, media engagement, executive profiling and brand reputation
  • Collaborate with sales, product, aftersales, customer experience and network development teams
  • Develop dealer and retail marketing programs, toolkits and brand guidelines
  • Lead customer lifecycle, lead-nurture and retention programs to improve conversion and customer value
  • Plan and deliver premium events, partnerships, sponsorships, activations and customer experiences
  • Manage marketing agencies, creative partners and specialist suppliers
  • Prepare briefs, manage supplier performance, negotiate commercial arrangements and maintain quality standards
  • Manage allocated marketing budgets, forecasts and purchasing processes
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide reporting across brand, customer funnel and commercial outcomes
  • Use customer insights, market research, competitive intelligence and campaign data to identify opportunities
  • Establish effective marketing processes, measurement frameworks and operating rhythms
  • Support the development of the marketing function and future team capability as the business expands

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Significant marketing experience with a background in senior brand, product or integrated marketing roles
  • Proven experience developing and delivering large-scale, multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Experience in automotive, premium consumer goods, luxury, technology, travel, financial services or another high-consideration industry
  • Strong understanding of the Australian consumer, media and retail landscape
  • Experience launching a new brand, product, category or market proposition is highly desirable
  • Strong capabilities across brand strategy, digital marketing, CRM, media, content, experiential marketing and performance measurement
  • Experience working with global or regional stakeholders and adapting international strategies for the Australian market
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with proven experience managing marketing budgets
  • Excellent project management, briefing, presentation and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, agencies and cross-functional teams
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and developing organisation
  • High level of commercial awareness, judgement and attention to detail
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline
  • Australian work rights or eligibility for employer-sponsored work visa
  • Willingness to relocate to the nominated Australian state if required
