Sous Chef

A busy hospitality venue in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join their kitchen team on a full-time basis for an immediate start.

• Support the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations
• Supervise kitchen staff and maintain consistent service standards
• Prepare and present high-quality dishes in line with venue expectations
• Assist with menu planning and kitchen coordination
• Manage stock control, ordering, and food cost management
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards are maintained
• Step into the Head Chef role when required
• Work efficiently during busy service periods

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and service flow
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to quality, consistency, and professionalism
• Reliable, organised, and able to work under pressure
• Relevant cookery or hospitality qualifications preferred
