Spray Painter

We are seeking an experienced Spray Painter to join an established premium joinery and furniture manufacturing team in New South Wales.

This opportunity is suited to a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in precision, surface preparation and high-quality finishes. You will work on custom joinery and furniture projects, applying polyurethane finishes, timber stains and clear coats while maintaining consistently high workmanship standards.

• Prepare and sand panels and surfaces for professional finishing
• Apply premium polyurethane finishes to custom joinery and furniture
• Apply timber stains and clear coats to high-end furniture and joinery
• Complete colour matching and finishing to a consistently high standard
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised spray booth and work area
• Ensure completed sprayed items are ready according to production schedules
• Communicate effectively with management and factory supervisors regarding job progress
• Work collaboratively with the paint and production teams
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain attention to detail across all stages of the finishing process

• Proven experience as a Spray Painter
• Practical experience with polyurethane finishes
• Experience with timber staining and clear coating
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of finish quality
• Ability to prepare surfaces correctly before spraying
• Reliable, punctual and committed to quality workmanship
• Ability to work effectively within a small, established team
• Good communication and workplace organisation skills
• Ability to follow OH&S and workplace safety requirements
• Australian working rights preferred
• Own reliable transport preferred
• Willingness to complete a trial period where required
