The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Network Technical Lead to join a leading technology consulting organisation supporting large-scale enterprise and government network environments. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, providing guidance to engineering teams while designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, high-performance network infrastructure.

The successful candidate will work with leading networking technologies including Cisco ACI, Cisco ASA, and F5 solutions while contributing to long-term infrastructure projects and mentoring technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day technical leadership and mentoring to network engineering teams
Design, implement and maintain enterprise network infrastructure
Build, configure and support Cisco ACI and APIC environments
Deploy and manage Cisco ASA firewall solutions
Design, configure and support F5 LTM and GTM appliances
Provide technical guidance for network architecture and infrastructure projects
Act as the senior escalation point for complex network issues
Monitor network performance and capacity to ensure optimal operation
Implement security best practices and maintain network reliability
Collaborate with project teams to deliver infrastructure upgrades and enhancements
Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with organisational standards

Requirements & Eligibility

Extensive experience with Cisco ACI, APIC and Cisco ASA environments
Strong expertise in F5 LTM and GTM configuration and support
Experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure
Proven experience in enterprise firewall deployment and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of network performance monitoring and capacity planning
Previous technical leadership or mentoring experience
Knowledge of network design principles and best practices
CCNP, CCIE or equivalent networking certifications are highly regarded
Experience with network automation tools and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices is advantageous
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
