Vehicle Spray Painter

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Automotive Spray Painter to join a well-established collision repair business in Queensland. This full-time position is ideal for a skilled professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality paint finishes and maintaining exceptional workmanship standards.

The successful candidate will work in a modern workshop alongside a supportive team, carrying out vehicle preparation, colour matching, and refinishing work while ensuring outstanding quality and customer satisfaction.

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
• Mix and match paint colours to manufacturer specifications
• Apply primers, base coats, and clear coats using professional spray-painting techniques
• Inspect painted vehicles to ensure a high-quality finish
• Carry out paint refinishing and touch-up work as required
• Maintain spray-painting equipment and keep the work area clean and organised
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines without compromising quality
• Collaborate with panel beaters and other workshop staff to complete repairs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction

• Proven experience as an Automotive Spray Painter
• Strong vehicle preparation, colour matching, and paint application skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, motivated, and professional work ethic
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
• Experience using automotive spray-painting equipment and materials
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment
