Venue Manager

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Venue Manager to lead a busy hospitality venue in Queensland.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading from the front. You will take ownership of daily venue operations, develop and motivate a high-performing team, and ensure every customer receives an exceptional dining experience.

The successful candidate will bring strong leadership skills, commercial awareness, and a positive, solutions-focused approach. You will play a key role in driving service standards, supporting team development, managing operational performance, and contributing to the continued success and growth of the business.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue
• Lead by example and provide hands-on support during service
• Recruit, train, develop and motivate team members
• Prepare and manage staff rosters to support operational requirements
• Maintain high standards of customer service, food quality and presentation
• Create a positive, professional and high-performing team culture
• Manage stock levels, ordering, inventory and cost control
• Monitor venue performance and support initiatives to achieve sales and operational targets
• Ensure the venue remains clean, well-presented, safe and efficiently operated
• Identify and resolve operational and customer service issues promptly
• Support staff performance and provide ongoing coaching and development
• Ensure compliance with relevant workplace, food safety and operational standards

• Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality or restaurant management
• Previous experience managing or supervising a hospitality team
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on approach with a willingness to lead from the front
• Ability to motivate, train and develop team members
• Commercial awareness with the ability to support sales and operational targets
• Positive attitude, high energy and strong work ethic
• Ability to work flexible hospitality hours, including weekends and evenings
