Warehouse Storeperson

A well-established construction and building supplies business in New South Wales is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator to join its team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a hands-on warehouse position offering genuine autonomy and variety. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, from receiving and organising stock through to preparing customer orders and delivering materials to construction sites.

The role suits someone who is confident operating a forklift, physically capable, organised and comfortable working independently. You will also have regular interaction with customers, drivers and site teams, making strong communication skills important.

• Operating a forklift to receive, store and move stock
• Picking and packing customer orders onto pallets
• Preparing customer orders for collection and delivery
• Loading materials onto vehicles and trucks
• Receiving and unloading incoming deliveries
• Checking, labelling and storing goods accurately
• Manually shrink-wrapping palletised goods
• Delivering and collecting materials from construction sites
• Tracking equipment moving in and out of the warehouse
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse
• Conducting end-of-month stock counts
• Assisting with general warehouse operations as required
• Communicating professionally with customers, drivers and site personnel
• Managing daily warehouse activities independently

• Current LF forklift licence with practical hands-on experience
• Previous warehouse or building materials experience preferred
• Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 25kg
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage daily warehouse responsibilities
• Reliable, organised and safety-conscious approach to work
• Current HR licence highly regarded but not essential
• Small truck driving experience advantageous
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm
• Willingness to undertake warehouse and delivery duties
• Eligible candidates must be able to meet Australian employment and visa requirements
