Welder/Fabricator

An excellent opportunity is available for experienced First-Class Welders/Fabricators to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company in New South Wales, Australia. This full-time position offers an immediate start, guaranteed overtime, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work on a variety of heavy engineering and fabrication projects in a modern workshop environment.

The successful candidate will produce high-quality fabrication and welding work while working independently and as part of a professional team

• Carry out fabrication and welding work to engineering specifications
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding across a range of fabrication projects
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair steel components to required quality standards
• Operate fabrication equipment and workshop machinery safely and efficiently
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• Work independently while meeting production deadlines
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve project objectives

• Trade qualification as a Welder, Boilermaker, Fabricator, or equivalent
• Proven experience in fabrication and welding within a workshop environment
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills and a positive, reliable work ethic
