The Opportunity

Join a well-established Australian engineering and automation company delivering commercial and industrial electrical projects across Western Australia. The business specialises in electrical engineering, building and industrial automation, switchboard manufacturing, energy optimisation, and control systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for an A-Grade Electrician looking to expand their skills in commercial electrical work, switchboard wiring, building management systems (BMS), and PLC technologies while working within a supportive and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial electrical installation and maintenance
Lighting and power installations
MSSB and switchboard wiring
Assist with BMS commissioning and system testing
Support PLC installation and commissioning activities
Interpret electrical drawings and technical plans
Prepare and organise tools, equipment, and work areas
Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Attend company training and professional development programs
Work collaboratively with project teams to deliver quality outcomes

Requirements & Eligibility

A-Grade Electrical Licence or equivalent recognised qualification
1–2 years of experience in commercial electrical, lighting and power, or HVAC electrical work
Experience with switchboard or MSSB wiring is highly desirable
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
Good communication and teamwork skills
Current work rights in Australia or eligible for employer sponsorship
Willingness to learn BMS, PLC, and industrial automation systems
Available to commence work as soon as possible
