Accountant

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of SME clients, provide high-quality accounting and tax services, and contribute to advisory projects. A structured pathway toward a Manager-level position is available.

• Manage and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Prepare tax returns and financial statements for a diverse range of SME clients
• Handle Division 7A matters
• Manage Capital Gains Tax (CGT) matters
• Manage Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) matters
• Provide accounting and business advisory services
• Work closely with clients to understand their financial and business requirements
• Deliver accurate and timely accounting and tax compliance work
• Assist with advisory and other accounting projects
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
• Progress toward a Manager-level role through structured career development

• CA or CPA qualified, or nearing completion
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Australian Public Practice
• Strong hands-on experience in tax compliance
• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships
• Proven experience dealing directly with clients
• Strong knowledge of Division 7A, CGT and FBT
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Excellent work ethic and professional attitude
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Willingness to learn, develop and take on additional responsibilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
