Aircraft Maintenance Engineers

Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are required to join a growing aviation maintenance organisation in Queensland, supporting line and heavy maintenance operations for multiple airline customers across Australia and the Pacific. The roles provide exposure to regional turboprop and jet aircraft in both line maintenance and hangar environments.

Opportunities are available for experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAME) – B1.1/B2 and Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs).

• Perform line and heavy aircraft maintenance activities
• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance
• Inspect, troubleshoot and rectify aircraft systems and components
• Complete aircraft servicing and maintenance in accordance with approved procedures
• Conduct maintenance activities on regional turboprop and jet aircraft
• Maintain accurate aircraft maintenance records and documentation
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with CASA regulations and approved standards
• Support aircraft turnaround and line maintenance operations
• Work collaboratively with maintenance and engineering teams
• Identify and report aircraft defects and technical issues
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance
• Participate in aircraft type training and additional approval programs where required

• CASA B1.1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence for LAME positions
• Q400 experience essential for LAME applicants
• Dash 8 Classic 100/200/300 experience desirable
• B737 NG or MAX experience desirable
• Narrow-body or wide-body jet experience advantageous
• Minimum 5 years of aviation industry experience for AME positions
• Line maintenance experience preferred
• Heavy maintenance experience will be considered
• Turboprop aircraft experience advantageous
• Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures and safety standards
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced aviation environment
• Willingness to work rostered shifts or Monday to Friday schedules
• Relevant aviation qualifications and maintenance experience
