Automotive Technician

An established automotive workshop in New South Wales is seeking an experienced and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join its growing team. This is a full-time position offering long-term career opportunities for skilled automotive professionals who are passionate about vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and customer service.

The successful candidate will work on a wide range of vehicles and be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical repairs and maintenance. Sponsorship is available for suitable international candidates.

• Carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and engine-related faults
• Perform repairs to engines, transmissions and vehicle components
• Maintain and repair braking systems
• Diagnose and repair cooling system faults
• Carry out general motor vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Perform tyre fitting and wheel alignment services
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within required timeframes
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working order
• Provide professional customer service when required

• Certificate III in Automotive Technology or equivalent trade qualification
• Minimum five years of automotive industry experience
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills on modern vehicles
• Experience carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Good understanding of automotive systems including brakes, cooling systems and electrical components
• Current driver's licence preferred
• Pink Slip Licence advantageous but not essential
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
