The Opportunity

Experienced Automotive Technicians are sought for opportunities with established automotive dealerships and workshop groups across multiple Australian states. Roles are available across premium, luxury, Japanese, European and emerging EV brands.

Positions may range from Automotive Technician and Senior Technician to Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician, EV/High-Voltage Technician and Technical Specialist.

Candidates with strong dealership or OEM workshop backgrounds will be considered, with opportunities offering competitive salary packages, technical development and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled servicing and mechanical repairs
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults
Use advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-specific systems
Carry out vehicle inspections and identify faults accurately
Complete repairs in line with manufacturer and workshop standards
Work with modern vehicle electronics, ECU systems and diagnostic technology
Service and repair hybrid, EV and high-voltage vehicle systems where qualified
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Follow workplace health, safety and environmental procedures
Work collaboratively with technicians, service teams and workshop management
Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and customer service

Requirements & Eligibility

Minimum five years of relevant automotive technician experience
Dealership or recognised OEM workshop experience
Relevant automotive trade qualification
Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills
Experience with recognised automotive brands
Brand-specific training or certifications where applicable
Experience with EV, hybrid or high-voltage systems is highly regarded
Advanced diagnostics or ECU programming experience is advantageous
Good communication and teamwork skills
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
TRA Skills Assessment completed
Required English-language test completed
Strong and verifiable employment history
Genuine readiness to relocate to Australia
