• Run client consultations on cut, colour and style, men's grooming and beard-shaping included
• Use clippers, razors, scissors and other professional tools to cut, taper, trim, shape and style
• Offer grooming services including wet shaves, hot towel treatments and beard and moustache trims
• Wash, condition and treat hair and scalp, then suggest the right products and give advice on home care and keeping the style in shape
• Carry out tints, colours, highlights, bleaching and chemical work for perms, relaxing and straightening, including taking colour out
• Style using blow dryers, straighteners, curling irons and styling products
• Keep tools, equipment and the work area clean and sanitised to hygiene and health and safety standards, and manage bookings, schedules and payments when required

• Minimum two (2) years' experience full-time as a Hairdresser or Barber
• Proven technical skill in haircutting, colouring, styling and men's grooming
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer service focus
• Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively in a team, plus sound knowledge of salon hygiene and safety practices
