Bicycle Mechanic

We are seeking a Full-Time Bike Mechanic to join a growing bicycle service and retail business in New South Wales. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoy hands-on technical work and delivering excellent customer service. Previous bicycle mechanic experience is an advantage but is not essential, as training will be provided to the right candidate. Apprentice mechanics are also encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and repairing bicycles and e-bikes while assisting customers and supporting daily workshop operations.

• Service and repair bicycles and electric bicycles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults
• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
• Assemble and prepare new bicycles for customers
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment
• Provide clear explanations to customers regarding repairs and maintenance
• Deliver high-quality customer service in the workshop and retail environment
• Complete job records, service notes, and booking information
• Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop
• Assist with inventory and workshop operations as required
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily service targets

• Previous mechanical or technical maintenance experience
• Experience as a bicycle mechanic is advantageous but not essential
• Apprentice mechanics are encouraged to apply
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn bicycle and e-bike systems
• Intermediate English communication skills
• Ability to explain repairs and interact professionally with customers
• Friendly, reliable, and well-organised work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to delivering quality workmanship and customer service
