Boilermaker

We are seeking experienced Boilermakers to join a well-established fabrication team in Queensland. This is a hands-on workshop opportunity for trade-qualified professionals with strong steel fabrication skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.

The role offers stable permanent full-time employment, consistent weekday hours and the opportunity to build a long-term career with an established fabrication business. With no FIFO and no night shifts, this position provides an excellent balance between professional development and lifestyle.

• Perform structural steel fabrication and boilermaking work within a workshop environment
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans and fabrication specifications
• Measure, mark, cut and prepare steel and other materials for fabrication
• Carry out welding, fabrication, assembly and finishing activities to required standards
• Operate workshop machinery, tools and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance with specifications
• Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and workshop team members
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and company standards
• Complete fabrication work within required timeframes while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Participate in ongoing training and skills development where required

• Trade qualification in Boilermaking, Welding, Metal Fabrication or a related trade
• Proven experience in workshop-based steel fabrication
• Strong welding and fabrication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
