Boilermakers & Pipefitters

An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Boilermakers and Pipefitters to join a leading engineering and maintenance contractor in Western Australia. Working across workshop and site-based projects, you will be involved in structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) fabrication, maintenance and shutdown activities within the resource and energy sectors.

• Carry out structural steel fabrication and installation
• Fabricate, assemble and install industrial piping systems
• Perform welding using approved procedures and industry standards
• Repair and maintain pressure vessels, tanks and structural components
• Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans
• Complete workshop fabrication and on-site installation work
• Participate in shutdown and maintenance projects
• Inspect fabricated components to ensure quality standards are met
• Operate fabrication equipment and power tools safely
• Work in confined spaces and at heights when required
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and project teams
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Complete project documentation and reporting as required

• Australian trade qualification or recognised overseas equivalent in Boilermaking or Pipefitting
• Demonstrated experience in structural, mechanical and piping fabrication
• Ability to pass 3G or 4G MMAW and FCAW welding tests
• Previous experience working on industrial or mining projects
• Current Working at Heights certification
• Current Confined Space certification
• High Risk Work Licence with EWP endorsement
• Construction White Card
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
