Cabinet Maker

A well-established residential cabinetry and kitchen renovation business in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker / Kitchen Installer to join its growing team.

This is a genuine full-time, permanent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking to build a stable long-term career in Australia. 482 visa sponsorship is available for a suitable candidate, particularly for skilled professionals already living and working in Australia who require employer sponsorship.

The role involves residential kitchen renovations, cabinetry installation, modifications and associated on-site work across the region. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality workmanship while working independently and as part of a professional team.

• Installing residential kitchen cabinets and cabinetry
• Assembling and modifying cabinets to suit project requirements
• Reading and interpreting cabinetry plans, drawings and specifications
• Installing doors, panels, fillers, kickboards and cabinet hardware
• Measuring, checking and positioning cabinetry accurately
• Carrying out on-site cabinet alterations and adjustments
• Identifying and resolving installation and cabinetry issues
• Working with laminate, melamine and other board products
• Completing general cabinet-making and kitchen installation tasks
• Ensuring all work meets professional quality and finishing standards
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment
• Working effectively with team members, customers and other trades
• Completing projects within required timeframes
• Following workplace health and safety procedures

• Minimum 5 years of cabinet-making, joinery or kitchen installation experience
• Relevant cabinet-making or joinery trade qualification preferred
• Strong practical cabinet-making and installation skills
• Experience with residential kitchens and cabinetry
• Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to carry out accurate measurements and on-site modifications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Australian driver's licence or ability to obtain one
• Reliable transport
• Evidence of previous employment and relevant industry experience
• Previous Australian work experience is highly regarded
• Must already be living in Australia
