Carpenter & Cabinet making

A growing renovation and construction business in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Carpenter & Cabinetmaker to join its team. The role offers the opportunity to work across kitchen and bathroom renovations, residential and commercial fit-outs, maintenance projects, and general carpentry.

This position is suited to a practical, motivated tradesperson who can work confidently across different projects, take responsibility for quality workmanship, and contribute effectively both independently and alongside other trades.

• Carry out general carpentry work across residential and commercial renovation projects
• Complete kitchen installations and cabinetry-related work
• Construct, install and modify cabinets and built-in fittings
• Undertake bathroom renovation and general fit-out work
• Perform domestic and commercial carpentry and maintenance tasks
• Carry out roofing and associated carpentry work
• Complete fencing and other external construction work
• Read and interpret plans, measurements and project requirements
• Prepare materials, tools and work areas for each project
• Work collaboratively with other trades to coordinate project activities
• Complete assigned work independently while maintaining high-quality standards
• Identify and resolve practical construction and installation issues
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and project requirements
• Contribute to ongoing improvements, skills development and efficient work practices

• Minimum 4 years of post-apprenticeship carpentry experience
• Strong experience across a broad range of carpentry work
• Practical experience in cabinetmaking and kitchen installation highly regarded
• Experience in roofing, fencing and residential or commercial fit-outs advantageous
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-trade team
• Strong planning, organisation and time-management skills
• Motivated attitude with a willingness to upskill and develop professionally
• Full Australian driver’s licence
• Own professional carpentry tools
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
