• Preparing and delivering high-quality meals in a professional kitchen environment
• Managing food preparation, cooking, plating, and service operations
• Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards
• Supporting menu development, seasonal specials, and new food ideas
• Managing portion control, food costing, and yield calculations
• Monitoring stock levels, ordering requirements, and reducing wastage
• Maintaining kitchen systems and ensuring smooth daily operations
• Working efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality standards
• Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen team members
• Assisting with maintaining commercial kitchen profitability and performance

• Qualified Chef or experienced Cook with strong kitchen experience
• Proven experience working in a professional hospitality environment
• Strong understanding of food preparation, service, and kitchen operations
• Experience with food costing, portion control, and stock management
• Ability to maintain high standards while working under pressure
• Reliable, organised, and committed to quality workmanship
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to contribute ideas and work collaboratively within a kitchen team
