Childcare Worker

An established early childhood education provider in Queensland is seeking 12 enthusiastic and passionate Childcare Workers to join its growing team on a full-time basis.

This opportunity is ideal for childcare professionals who are passionate about supporting young children, building strong relationships with families, and creating engaging and nurturing learning environments.

Visa sponsorship is available for suitably qualified overseas candidates, subject to applicable visa requirements, skills assessment, English language requirements and employer selection processes.

• Create a safe, nurturing, welcoming and engaging environment for children aged 0–6 years
• Support the delivery of high-quality educational programs and learning experiences
• Assist with planning and implementing programs aligned with the EYLF
• Support documentation, programming and children's electronic portfolios
• Build warm, respectful and positive relationships with children and their families
• Communicate professionally and effectively with parents, families and colleagues
• Contribute to a strong home-to-centre partnership with families
• Work collaboratively with other early childhood educators and team members
• Support children's individual learning, development and wellbeing
• Maintain a positive, enthusiastic, flexible and professional approach
• Follow the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and relevant regulatory requirements
• Contribute to maintaining a high standard of education, care, health and safety
• Participate in ongoing learning and professional development
• Use computer-based systems for programming, documentation and portfolio management

• Currently studying towards or holding a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Genuine passion for working with children aged 0–6 years
• Strong interest in building a long-term career in early childhood education and care
• Positive and supportive approach when working with children and families
• Strong work ethic, enthusiasm and energy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Open-minded, flexible and innovative approach to early childhood education
• Understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and National Quality Standards
• Basic computer literacy and ability to work with electronic programming and portfolio systems
• Current Queensland Blue Card or ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete a National Police Check
• First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, or willingness to obtain the required qualifications
• Overseas applicants must meet applicable visa requirements and relevant qualification or ACECQA assessment requirements
• English language proficiency meeting the requirements of the relevant visa pathway
