The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Coded Welders to join a leading industrial maintenance and engineering services company in Western Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to work on ongoing maintenance projects involving fixed plant equipment across a variety of industrial sites.

This role offers consistent casual employment with immediate start opportunities, flexible shift options, and sponsorship available for eligible onshore candidates. You will perform high-quality coded welding, structural fabrication, equipment repairs, and maintenance while working to strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform coded welding on structural steel and pressure pipe (6G)
Carry out structural fabrication and on-site welding repairs
Repair and replace worn components, piping and structural steel
Maintain fixed plant equipment including pumps, tanks, hoppers, chutes and ductwork
Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Complete preventative and corrective maintenance activities
Support shutdowns, breakdown maintenance and scheduled campaigns
Perform workshop fabrication and provide on-site installation support
Ensure all work complies with safety, quality and industry standards
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements & Eligibility

Trade Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent trade qualification
Ability to successfully pass a 6G weld test
Proven experience in coded welding and industrial fabrication
Experience working on fixed plant maintenance projects
Current Working at Heights certification (within the last 2 years)
Current Confined Space Entry certification (within the last 2 years)
Current driver's licence
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
