Early Childhood Educator

An established and growing early childhood education provider in Western Australia is seeking passionate Early Childhood Educators holding a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

This opportunity is suited to educators who are passionate about creating safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments where children can develop, explore and thrive. You will work alongside a supportive team focused on quality education, child wellbeing and strong relationships with children and families.

• Build warm, respectful and nurturing relationships with children and families
• Support the delivery of high-quality play-based learning experiences
• Assist with planning educational programs aligned with EYLF V2.0 and/or MTOP
• Create inclusive, engaging and stimulating learning environments
• Observe, document and evaluate children's learning and development
• Support children's agency, participation, wellbeing and sense of belonging
• Work collaboratively with Room Leaders and fellow educators
• Maintain a safe, welcoming and child-focused environment
• Communicate professionally and positively with children, families and colleagues
• Follow child safety, health and safety, regulatory and organisational requirements
• Contribute to the service's Quality Improvement Plan and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support the individual interests, needs and developmental goals of each child

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
• Current Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management training
• Relevant child protection and national child safety training
• Knowledge of EYLF V2.0 and/or MTOP
• Understanding of relevant Early Childhood Education and Care legislation and regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative early childhood education team
