The Opportunity

A major industrial operation in Western Australia is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join its maintenance team and help keep critical plant and equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently.

This opportunity is suited to an experienced electrician with strong industrial troubleshooting capabilities and a commitment to safe maintenance practices. Candidates with verified qualifications, relevant industrial experience and a genuine commitment to long-term employment will be strongly considered.

Key Responsibilities

Perform electrical maintenance across industrial plant and equipment
Diagnose electrical faults and carry out effective repairs
Complete preventative and corrective maintenance activities
Identify potential equipment issues and reduce unplanned downtime
Support plant reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
Work with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance
Develop practical and cost-effective maintenance solutions with the maintenance team
Maintain accurate and professional maintenance practices
Follow all workplace safety, health and environmental procedures

Requirements & Eligibility

Current Australian Electrical Licence – essential
Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in industrial, manufacturing, processing, mining or similar environments
Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant qualifications and employment history must be verifiable
Instrumentation experience is advantageous
SAP experience is advantageous
