Farm Hand

• Prepare and distribute animal feed
• Feed livestock according to daily schedules
• Monitor animal health and wellbeing through routine inspections
• Handle and move animals safely and humanely
• Assist with livestock processing and quality management activities
• Maintain hygiene standards across all farm facilities
• Clean equipment and work areas using approved cleaning products
• Operate farm vehicles and machinery following training and licensing requirements
• Carry out general farm maintenance, including mowing, weed control, and equipment upkeep
• Maintain accurate records and report daily activities to supervisors
• Work collaboratively with the farm team to achieve production targets
• Follow all workplace health, safety, and biosecurity procedures

• Previous experience working with animals, agriculture, or physically demanding work is advantageous but not essential
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Physically fit and capable of lifting feed, standing for extended periods, and performing manual tasks
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and animal welfare
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
• Available to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays when required
• Valid driver's licence is advantageous
