Formworkers

A leading civil construction company is seeking experienced Civil Formworkers to join a growing team on major infrastructure and civil projects across Queensland. The role involves working on large-scale civil construction projects including bridges, culverts, FRP structures, drainage systems, and concrete works. Sponsorship opportunities are available for the right candidate.

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Construct and install formwork systems for civil infrastructure projects
• Perform FRP formwork and concreting works
• Build drainage structures, bridge components, culverts, and retaining systems
• Install horizontal and vertical formwork components, bolts, fasteners, and supports
• Assemble and dismantle formwork systems, scaffolding, props, and brackets
• Operate safely while working at heights and from EWP platforms or scaffolding
• Handle and work around construction chemicals and materials safely
• Coordinate with supervisors and site teams regarding materials and site requirements
• Complete additional site duties as directed by supervisors

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction formwork
• Certificate III in Formwork or Carpentry preferred
• Experience with FRP and concrete civil projects
• Familiarity with formwork systems such as Peri, Doka, or Unispan
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Valid Construction White Card
• Working at Heights certification (within 2 years preferred)
• Dogging, Rigging, EWP, or related tickets are advantageous
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding construction environments
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test
