Head Chef
The Opportunity

The hiring group already runs several award-winning restaurants and is building this venue with an award-winning Japanese architect and master ceramic artisans.
What the employer is looking for is clear. They want senior leadership from acclaimed Japanese premium kitchens, deep technical skill and someone who can work hand in hand with the Executive Chef on menus. They also care about character: confident, humble, respectful, and firmly against bullying or intimidation. Sponsorship for a visa is considered for exceptional international candidates.
To stand out, match your application to the duties. Show the sections you have run, such as sushi, robata or omakase, give examples of controlling food and labour costs, and explain how you kept good chefs on your team.
