Heavy Diesel Mechanic

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Mechanical All-Rounder to join a well-established family-owned business in Western Australia. This permanent full-time role combines workshop-based maintenance with operational support during busy seasonal periods.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of trucks, machinery, and light vehicles while supporting field operations when required. Relocation assistance, accommodation support, and sponsorship opportunities are available for suitable applicants.

• Service, maintain, and repair heavy vehicles, machinery, and light vehicles
• Carry out preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis
• Maintain fleet reliability and minimise equipment downtime
• Perform repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components
• Assist operational teams during seasonal peak periods
• Work closely with management to prioritise maintenance requirements
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
• Manage workload independently and respond to operational priorities

• Heavy diesel, agricultural, mechanical fitting, or relevant mechanical experience
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities
• Experience maintaining trucks, machinery, and light vehicles
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Physically fit and willing to assist with operational activities when required
• MR or HR driver's licence highly regarded
