Heavy Vehicle / Bus Mechanic

Heavy Vehicle / Bus Mechanics are sought for established transport operations across Western Australia. This opportunity is suited to trade-qualified mechanics who can demonstrate genuine hands-on experience, strong diagnostic capability and a reliable approach to heavy vehicle maintenance.

The role offers FIFO and residential work options, with 482 visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates. You will work across a varied fleet supporting transport and mining-related operations.

• Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical faults and identify repair requirements
• Carry out mechanical repairs across heavy vehicles and buses
• Service and maintain engines, transmissions and vehicle systems
• Respond to vehicle breakdowns when required
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service standards
• Follow workplace safety, quality and compliance procedures
• Work effectively as part of a maintenance team
• Support the reliable operation of a diverse vehicle fleet

• Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle, Diesel or Bus Mechanics
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with heavy vehicles, buses, coaches or trucks
• Strong mechanical diagnosis and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work across different vehicle makes and systems
• Willingness to work in regional or remote Western Australia
• Reliable and safety-focused approach to work
• Current driver's licence, with HR licence desirable
• Ability to meet pre-employment medical requirements
• Ability to meet drug and alcohol screening requirements
