Industrial Spray Painter

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Industrial Spray Painter to join a growing industrial services company in Western Australia. This full-time position involves surface preparation, abrasive blasting, and the application of protective coatings to structural steel, machinery, and industrial components in both workshop and site-based environments.

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and removing contaminants
• Perform abrasive blasting to required specifications
• Mix and prepare paints, coatings, and industrial finishes
• Apply primers, sealers, and protective coatings using spray equipment
• Mask and protect surfaces not requiring coating
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and specification compliance
• Measure and record coating thickness and complete quality reports
• Conduct testing and quality control procedures where required
• Maintain spray-painting and blasting equipment
• Monitor paint and consumable stock levels
• Follow workplace safety procedures and industry standards
• Work in both workshop and field environments as required

• Relevant qualification or proven experience as an Industrial Spray Painter
• Experience with abrasive blasting and industrial coating applications
• Knowledge of industrial painting equipment and coating systems
• Ability to read and follow job specifications and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work safely in industrial environments
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks
