The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscaper to join a professional commercial landscaping team in the Northern Territory. This long-term opportunity is suited to someone with solid landscape construction experience who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety and working effectively as part of a team.

The role covers a broad range of commercial landscaping activities, including site preparation, drainage, irrigation, paving, retaining walls, turfing and planting. You will have the opportunity to work across quality commercial projects in a supportive and well-organised environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out site preparation, including set-out, levelling, excavation and base preparation
Complete turfing, planting, mulching and other soft landscaping works
Install paving, edging, minor concrete works and other hardscape elements
Construct and install retaining walls and structural landscape features
Install drainage and irrigation systems
Safely operate landscaping plant, machinery and equipment
Maintain clean, safe and organised work areas
Follow all workplace health and safety requirements and procedures
Work independently and collaboratively with other team members
Complete landscaping tasks to a high standard and within project deadlines
Assist with general landscape construction activities as required

Requirements & Eligibility

Minimum 2 years of proven experience in landscape construction
Formal landscaping qualifications are advantageous
Strong work ethic, reliability and a positive attitude
Safety-conscious and respectful approach to work
Current full driver's licence and own reliable transport essential
MR driver's licence advantageous
White Card essential
Permanent Australian work rights required for applicants not seeking sponsorship
Temporary residents need not apply
Visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates
Working with Children Card (OCHRE) or willingness to obtain
DCAC for Robertson Barracks advantageous
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Willingness to undertake physical outdoor work in a commercial landscaping environment
