Mechanical / HVAC Site Manager

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HVAC Site Manager to take a leading role on major commercial construction projects in Western Australia.

This position is suited to a proven HVAC or mechanical construction professional with experience managing large-scale Design & Construct HVAC packages valued at $10M+. You will lead on-site delivery, coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors, and ensure mechanical services are installed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Projects may include major healthcare, defence, government, education, aviation, hotel, data centre and commercial developments.

• Lead the day-to-day site delivery of major HVAC and mechanical services packages
• Coordinate HVAC trades, subcontractors, suppliers and site resources
• Monitor construction programmes, installation progress and project milestones
• Oversee workmanship and quality throughout the installation process
• Maintain strong safety standards and support site compliance requirements
• Review and interpret HVAC drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, consultants and builders
• Identify and resolve site, technical and construction issues
• Support variations, technical queries and project changes
• Provide leadership and direction to site-based teams

• Minimum 4 years of HVAC or mechanical construction experience in Australia, New Zealand or the UK
• Previous experience on major commercial construction projects
• Tier 1 construction experience highly regarded
• Strong understanding of HVAC installation and mechanical construction processes
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Trade qualification, engineering qualification or substantial relevant industry experience
• Demonstrated leadership and site management capability
• Strong communication and coordination skills
