Metal Fabricator (Boilermaker Welder)

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Metal Fabricator (Boilermaker/Welder) to join a growing engineering and maintenance company based in Western Australia. This is a permanent full-time position with a minimum of 38 hours per week, offering an annual salary of $120,000–$135,000 depending on skills and experience.

The successful candidate will work across workshop and site-based projects, undertaking fabrication, assembly, maintenance, and repair of fixed and mobile plant equipment. This role is ideal for qualified tradespeople who are committed to producing high-quality workmanship while maintaining strong safety standards.

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Cut, bend, shape, and prepare metal materials for fabrication
• Perform welding and assembly of fabricated components
• Carry out maintenance and repair of fixed and mobile plant equipment
• Attend site work and equipment breakdowns as required
• Operate fabrication machinery and workshop equipment safely
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure completed work meets specifications
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with workplace procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver projects safely and efficiently

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate III in Metal Fabrication or an equivalent qualification
• Minimum three years of full-time experience as a Metal Fabricator or Boilermaker/Welder
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience in fabrication, welding, maintenance, and repair of heavy equipment or plant machinery
• Current National Police Certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening
• Current Construction White Card
• Current Working at Heights certification
• Current Confined Space certification
• Valid Australian driver's licence
