Metal Fabricator

A verified full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Metal Fabricator (Boilermaker Welder) to join an established engineering and maintenance operation in Western Australia.

The role offers the opportunity to work across workshop fabrication, fixed and mobile plant maintenance, site-based projects and breakdown support. The successful candidate will bring strong fabrication and welding skills, a safety-first approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a professional team.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans and specifications
• Measure, mark out, cut, bend and shape metal components
• Fabricate and assemble structural and mechanical components
• Perform welding and fabrication to required specifications and standards
• Carry out repairs and maintenance on fixed and mobile plant equipment
• Attend site-based maintenance activities and equipment breakdowns
• Complete workshop fabrication and assembly tasks
• Inspect completed work and conduct quality checks
• Operate fabrication tools, machinery and equipment safely
• Perform routine maintenance on fabrication machinery
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
• Follow workplace health, safety and environmental procedures

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate III or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years of full-time experience as a Metal Fabricator, Boilermaker or Welder
• Strong experience in fabrication, welding and metalworking
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• National Police Certificate
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening
• Current Construction White Card
• Working at Heights certification obtained within the last 2 years
• Confined Space certification obtained within the last 2 years
• Valid Australian Driver Licence
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
