The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Phone Repair Technician & Sales Consultant to join a growing mobile device repair and accessories retail business with multiple locations across Queensland.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong technical repair skills and retail sales experience who enjoy working with technology and providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing mobile phones and tablets, assisting customers with product selection, and contributing to store sales and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mobile phones and tablets
Perform screen, battery, charging port, camera, and other hardware repairs
Troubleshoot device faults and recommend appropriate repair solutions
Provide professional customer service and technical advice
Assist customers with selecting mobile accessories and products
Promote and sell phone cases, screen protectors, chargers, and other accessories
Process customer sales and payments accurately
Maintain repair documentation and service records
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
Ensure the store remains clean, organised, and professionally presented
Contribute to achieving store sales and customer service targets
Work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality service

Requirements & Eligibility

Previous experience repairing mobile phones and tablets
Previous retail sales or customer service experience
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional attitude with strong customer service skills
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Experience repairing iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel, Oppo, and other Android devices is highly regarded
Experience repairing iPads and other tablets is highly regarded
Experience applying screen protectors and selling mobile accessories is advantageous
Background in telecommunications, electronics, or mobile device retail is desirable
Leadership or retail supervisory experience will be considered an advantage
