Project Engineer

Join a growing civil and marine construction team delivering complex infrastructure projects across Western Australia. This opportunity is suited to a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer who enjoys hands-on project delivery, practical problem solving and working across varied civil, marine and public realm works.

You will contribute to a major recreational development incorporating surf park infrastructure, while gaining exposure to specialist construction activities including marine works, civil infrastructure, bridge interfaces, landscaping and structural elements.

• Day-to-day coordination and management of site activities
• Managing subcontractors and specialist marine trades
• Coordinating pile works, fender installations, revetments and bridge interfaces
• Overseeing civil works including drainage, landscaping and structural elements
• Monitoring project programming and cost control
• Coordinating subcontractor activities to maintain project progress
• Liaising with clients, consultants, authorities and project stakeholders
• Preparing and maintaining quality documentation including ITPs, HIRACs, inspections and reports
• Monitoring site safety, quality and environmental requirements
• Identifying constructability improvements and practical project solutions
• Supporting graduate and junior engineers
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and project delivery

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification
• 2–4 years of experience in civil or marine construction
• Site-based construction experience preferred
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing site activities
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety and quality requirements
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a hands-on environment
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
• Practical problem-solving approach with strong attention to detail
• Genuine interest in civil, marine and community infrastructure projects
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, contractors and project stakeholders
