The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Project Engineer to join a growing civil construction team on a permanent full-time FIFO roster in Western Australia. Working on large-scale civil and mining infrastructure projects, you will play a key role in supporting project delivery from planning through to completion while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely and on schedule
Monitor project productivity, costs, and budget performance
Plan and schedule construction activities
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project reports
Develop Construction Method Statements (CMS), work packs, and project documentation
Assist with project estimating, forecasting, and variations
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams
Maintain quality assurance and quality control throughout project delivery
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and contractual requirements
Support project commissioning, handover, and close-out activities
Promote continuous improvement and a positive safety culture

Requirements & Eligibility

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Site Engineer within civil construction, mining, or earthworks projects
Experience delivering bulk earthworks, detailed earthworks, pavements, drainage, and services projects
Strong knowledge of project planning, cost control, quality assurance, and reporting
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative project team
Current Australian Driver's Licence or ability to obtain one if required
Australian working rights or eligibility for employer sponsorship
Willingness to work a FIFO 2:1 roster
