Refrigeration Mechanic

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Refrigeration Mechanics to join a growing facilities and maintenance team in Western Australia. This FIFO opportunity is ideal for qualified tradespeople with strong domestic and commercial refrigeration experience who are looking for a stable roster, competitive remuneration and opportunities for career development.

The role operates on a family-friendly 8 days on / 6 days off roster, with 12-hour shifts while on site. FIFO opportunities are available from Perth.

• Carry out preventative and reactive refrigeration maintenance across domestic and commercial facilities
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair refrigeration and air-conditioning systems
• Complete servicing, inspections and maintenance in accordance with required standards
• Identify equipment faults and implement effective repair solutions
• Perform refrigeration-related electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance documentation and job reports
• Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Work safely in accordance with site procedures, policies and relevant regulations
• Use tools, equipment and personal protective equipment appropriately
• Work collaboratively with maintenance teams and other site personnel
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, service delivery and safety
• Work effectively in remote and challenging site environments

• Recognised Refrigeration Mechanic trade qualification or equivalent
• Current Australian Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARC Licence)
• WA Restricted Electrical Licence
• Previous experience in domestic and commercial refrigeration or facilities maintenance
• Current driver's licence and willingness to convert to an Australian licence where required
• Australian Federal Police Clearance issued within the previous 6 months
• Working at Heights and EWP certification, or willingness to obtain after arrival
• Current First Aid, LV Rescue and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain after arrival
• White Card / Construction Card, or willingness to obtain after arrival
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in remote and demanding environments
• Good level of physical fitness suitable for site-based work
• Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and service quality
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
