The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity is available for qualified Refrigeration Mechanics to join a leading facilities maintenance organisation in Western Australia. This FIFO position offers a family-friendly roster of 8 days on site and 6 days off, with competitive remuneration, career development opportunities, and visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.

The successful candidate will work across domestic and commercial facility maintenance projects, delivering high-quality refrigeration services while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out installation, maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across commercial and domestic facilities
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
Ensure all work complies with Australian safety standards and regulations
Maintain refrigeration equipment to maximise performance and reliability
Complete maintenance reports and required documentation accurately
Work collaboratively with on-site maintenance teams
Follow workplace health, safety and environmental procedures at all times
Deliver high-quality customer service and professional workmanship
Work 12-hour shifts in remote FIFO environments

Requirements & Eligibility

Visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates
New Zealand Citizenship or full Australian working rights
Recognised Refrigeration Mechanic Trade Certificate
Current ARC Licence
Western Australia Restricted Electrical Licence
Current Driver's Licence (or willingness to convert upon arrival)
Australian Federal Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months
Working at Heights certification or willingness to obtain
Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certification or willingness to obtain
Current First Aid, LV Rescue and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
White Card (Construction Card) or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Previous experience in commercial and domestic facilities maintenance
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Physically fit and capable of working in remote FIFO conditions
