Registered Nurse

This aged care employer is looking for a Registered Nurse who is as comfortable leading a shift as delivering clinical care. The role is a permanent full-time post at a residential home in Coffs Harbour, NSW, run by a not-for-profit provider, with rotating morning, afternoon and night shifts and a direct line to the Care Manager.

• Provide best-practice clinical care to residents
• Lead each shift and coach, supervise and guide the personal care workers

• Current AHPRA registration
• Bachelor of Nursing or an equivalent qualification
• At least 2 years of experience as a nurse, ideally including time in aged care
• Understanding of aged care legislation, the Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC assessment processes
• Solid clinical knowledge of ageing and the conditions that come with it
• Comfort coaching, mentoring and supporting carers, plus strong communication, conflict-resolution and emotional-intelligence skills
• Competent IT skills and a positive, collaborative outlook
