Key Responsibilities
- Delivering clinical care that is safe, effective and centred on each person
- Assessing residents, planning their care and documenting it accurately
- Administering medications and monitoring health status
- Working with multidisciplinary teams, residents and families while mentoring care team members
- Helping the home improve care quality on a continuous basis
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse)
- Registered Nurse experience of at least 2 years; Australian experience is highly regarded, and overseas-only experience must be within the last 5 years
- Strong skills in clinical assessment and decision-making
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to person-centred care of high quality
- Willingness to work in regional NSW, VIC, QLD, SA and WA; highly regarded: residential aged care experience, Aged Care Quality Standards knowledge and clinical team leadership
