Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality care for each resident, including medication administration and ongoing health monitoring
- Build, implement and review individualised care plans
- Oversee care staff and hold the team to high care standards
- Keep clinical records accurate and communicate well with residents, families and health professionals
- Apply the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical policies, and join quality improvement initiatives and clinical reviews
- React promptly to changing conditions and medical emergencies, and keep your professional knowledge current through continuing professional development
Requirements & Eligibility
- Registered Nurse holding current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum six months' experience as an RN within aged care
- Strong verbal communication
- Strong written communication
- Knowledge of AN-ACC funding
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Intermediate computer skills and confidence with clinical documentation systems
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance and a current National Criminal History Check
- Valid Queensland driver's licence
