• Provide evidence-based nursing care in accordance with individual care plans
• Assess, monitor and evaluate residents' clinical conditions
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Develop, implement and review personalised care plans
• Lead, supervise and support nursing and care staff
• Provide guidance to Graduate Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, students and care workers
• Monitor staff performance and contribute to ongoing professional development
• Collaborate with residents, families, allied health professionals, medical practitioners and external healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care records
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, aged care standards and nursing best practices
• Promote resident wellbeing, dignity, independence and quality of life
• Participate in mandatory education and continuous professional development

• Bachelor of Nursing qualification
• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Previous experience in aged care or a strong interest in aged care nursing
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
• Current COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations (or willingness to meet employer requirements)
• Commitment to maintaining professional, ethical and legal nursing standards
