Security Officer

• Manage access control and verify authorised entry to the site
• Conduct regular foot patrols to maintain security and situational awareness
• Monitor the site for suspicious activity, security risks and potential incidents
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence
• Engage professionally with personnel, contractors and visitors
• Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, incidents and security concerns
• Follow established security procedures, protocols and site requirements
• Remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions during incidents
• Accurately complete incident reports, shift logs and other required documentation
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and accountability at all times

• Australian Citizenship may be required for security clearance eligibility
• Hold a current QLD Security Licence
• Current security clearance is highly regarded
• Candidates without the required clearance may be eligible for clearance sponsorship, subject to applicable conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High levels of integrity, discretion and accountability
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Ability to follow strict security procedures and protocols
• Previous experience in a high-security or Defence-related environment is advantageous
