Sheet Metal Fabricator / Aluminium Fabricator

A well-established metal fabrication business in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator / Aluminium Fabricator to join its production team.

This opportunity is suited to a proven fabricator who takes pride in precision workmanship, understands technical drawings and can confidently work with aluminium fabrication and welding

• Interpret fabrication drawings, plans and basic sketches
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal and aluminium components
• Perform aluminium TIG or laser welding to a high standard
• Operate cutting, bending, rolling and other fabrication equipment
• Measure, cut and prepare materials accurately
• Complete fabrication and assembly work according to specifications
• Work closely with production team members to maintain workflow and quality
• Identify practical improvements to fabrication processes
• Maintain accurate and consistent workmanship across completed products
• Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant fabrication experience
• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator or Aluminium Fabricator
• Strong aluminium welding skills using TIG or laser welding
• Ability to interpret fabrication drawings and sketches
• Hands-on experience with cutting, bending and rolling equipment
• Fencing and gates fabrication experience is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Good problem-solving and practical fabrication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a production team
