The Opportunity

A leading specialist ground engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Shotcreter to join its growing operations in NSW. This permanent full-time opportunity is suited to an experienced shotcrete professional who can confidently operate shotcrete machinery, deliver high-quality ground support works and contribute to safe, efficient project delivery.

The role involves working closely with anchoring and drilling teams across challenging ground engineering projects, applying shotcrete in accordance with project specifications and maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Operate shotcrete machines and associated equipment
Prepare surfaces and apply shotcrete in accordance with project specifications
Work closely with anchoring and drilling teams during ground support operations
Manage and coordinate shotcrete operations across projects
Support and develop team skills and capability
Maintain a strong safety culture across all site activities
Ensure shotcrete quality meets required project standards
Apply appropriate concrete mixing and shotcrete application techniques
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of shotcrete equipment
Work effectively in varying environmental and site conditions
Follow workplace health, safety and environmental procedures
Contribute to efficient and successful project delivery

Requirements & Eligibility

Demonstrated experience in shotcrete application
Proven experience operating shotcrete machinery and equipment
Strong knowledge of concrete mixing and shotcrete application techniques
Experience working alongside anchoring and drilling teams
Ability to lead and support team members
Strong safety awareness and commitment to workplace safety
Nationally accredited OHS Card / White Card or equivalent
Full Australian driving licence
Own reliable transport
MR licence for line pump operation, where required
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to pass a project-specific pre-employment medical
Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening
Relevant Australian work rights or eligibility for employer-sponsored employment
