Shotcreters

A leading Australian ground engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Shotcreter to join its New South Wales operations.

This role involves working on complex ground stabilisation and support projects across infrastructure and construction sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing shotcrete operations while working closely with anchoring and drilling teams on major projects.

• Operate shotcrete machines and related equipment
• Prepare surfaces and apply shotcrete according to project specifications
• Work alongside anchoring and drilling crews on-site
• Manage and oversee project shotcrete operations
• Assist in developing and improving team skill levels
• Ensure all safety procedures and quality standards are maintained
• Conduct routine maintenance and checks on equipment
• Operate line pumps where required
• Work effectively in varying environmental and site conditions

• Proven experience in shotcrete application
• Strong understanding of concrete mixing and application techniques
• Experience operating shotcrete equipment and machinery
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety
• Full driver’s licence
• Own transport preferred
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing
• Must be able to work effectively on demanding construction projects
