Site Boilermaker

We are seeking two experienced Site Boilermakers to join a growing engineering and construction company in Queensland. This full-time opportunity offers immediate starts and the chance to work on a variety of structural steel and commercial construction projects within a safety-focused and supportive team environment.

The successful candidates will be involved in structural steel fabrication, on-site installation, steel erection, and interpreting engineering drawings while delivering high-quality workmanship across major construction projects.

• Carry out structural steel fabrication and assembly
• Perform on-site installation and steel erection works
• Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
• Complete accurate set-out of structural steel components
• Carry out welding using approved techniques and procedures
• Ensure all work meets quality and engineering specifications
• Operate safely within commercial and industrial construction sites
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors and project teams
• Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements
• Inspect completed work to maintain quality standards
• Assist with lifting, rigging, and crane-related activities where required
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
• Contribute to efficient project delivery and site productivity

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Boilermaker or Structural Steel Fabricator
• Proven experience welding using MMA, FCAW, and TIG processes
• Experience fabricating and assembling structural steel
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with structural steel erection and set-out
• Current Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Ticket
• Knowledge of dogging and crane operations
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Reliable work ethic with excellent teamwork skills
• Ability to work in physically demanding site environments
