Structural Steel Fabricators and Welders

Join a well-established and growing structural steel fabrication company in Western Australia. We are seeking experienced Trade Qualified Welders/Fabricators to join a modern workshop delivering high-quality structural steel projects. This is a full-time permanent opportunity with consistent overtime available and long-term career prospects.

The successful candidates will work in a spacious, well-equipped workshop alongside a skilled team committed to delivering precision workmanship and maintaining high quality standards.

• Fabricate and weld structural steel frames and components to engineering specifications
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and fabrication plans
• Perform MIG and MMA welding to a high standard
• Prepare, assemble and tack weld steel components prior to final welding
• Operate fabrication equipment including rollers, flame cutters and measuring tools
• Complete structural welds while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
• Work collaboratively with the fabrication team to meet production deadlines
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

• Trade qualification in Welding, Fabrication or a related trade
• Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and welding
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience with MIG and MMA welding processes
• Experience working with mild steel ranging from approximately 3mm to 10mm thickness
• Ability to operate fabrication machinery and metalworking equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and capable of working in a fabrication workshop
• Forklift licence is advantageous
• Overhead crane licence is advantageous
