Underground Boilermaker

An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Boilermakers to join a leading mining operation in Western Australia. This permanent full-time role offers residential and FIFO options, working on modern, low-hour mining equipment across long-life operations. • Fabricate, weld and install metal structures, components and mining equipment
• Carry out inspections, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on heavy mining machinery
• Perform structural repairs and modifications to mining equipment as required
• Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications
• Conduct fault finding and identify effective repair solutions
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of workmanship and quality
• Follow workplace health, safety and environmental procedures at all times
• Complete maintenance documentation and service records accurately
• Work collaboratively with maintenance teams and other trades to minimise equipment downtime
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment

• Australian-recognised Boilermaker/Welder trade qualification or equivalent
• Minimum unrestricted Manual C Class Driver's Licence
• Previous experience working in a heavy-duty mining, construction or industrial environment
• Strong fabrication, welding and metal repair skills
• Proven experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on rotating rosters
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and relevant site requirements
